I often write about Pennsylvania’s PHP and Pennsylvania’s health care boards; impairment investigations that start after a DUI, a positive pre-employment drug test, or an accusation of being drunk at work. The new PHP and the PHMP have ratcheted up their enforcement, their insensitivity to drug or alcohol use, and should not be trusted by anyone. The case workers lie, are dishonest in answering questions, and try to get potential participants to sign forms, waive confidentiality, and disclose medical care and treatment. DO NOT SIGN PHP FORMS. CALL ME. DO NOT VOLUNTEER TO GO TO ANY OUT OF STATE TREATMENT FACILITY! Do not go to Providence House, trust a “Dr. Heran” or anyone at Marworth or Caron treatment centers. Dr. William Heran is not a medical doctor. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with with a PHD. A LCSW, he can not practice medicine and can not prescribe medications. He is a social worker. He should not be listing on his LinkedIn page that he is a Dr. — he is not to be trusted.
